Snapshot of the week:
Our Fundations lessons this week will continue to focus on letter formation, reading/producing CVC words, and practicing sight words! We will do a brief review of sight words from lists 1 and 2, and will also begin working on list 3. Our words of the week will be: at, be, this, have. Please work with your child at home to practice these words. We encourage "inventive" spelling of most words, but look for the correct spelling of sight words. In math, we will be working with addition and subtraction number stories, as well as investigating combinations of 10. We will be celebrating Read Across America Week, and reading tons of Dr. Seuss stories! We will also have dress up days on Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday is Dr. Seuss Wear and Friday is to dress as your favorite storybook character.
